Welcome to Soundhouse AV Rentals! We got our start more than ten years ago, quickly becoming the NYC nightlife industry’s favorite for DJ equipment rentals. Ten years later, we’ve grown our inventory and our capabilities. We’re a one stop shop for event audio, video, lighting, staging and more.

Now, our clients range from your favorite brand, retailer, music venue, or cultural institution, to your neighborhood public school, to your downstairs neighbor. We still do DJ gear, but we also rent world-class sound systems, large venue projectors, LED video walls, lighting from functional to theatrical, show control, multi-cam video production to capture the moment, and live-streaming to get it to your audience.

We provide turnkey AV production and technical direction, bringing together the experience, expertise and equipment you need to execute your event flawlessly.

We hired Soundhouse when a production company bailed on us last minute. They were flexible, professional, responsive, and had what we needed when we needed it. Soundhouse Rentals is incredible and I would highly recommend working with them. My event had to be rescheduled, and they provided me with credit towards my order in spite of a last minute cancellation. They were repeatedly helpful, kind, and understanding on the phone. No question was treated as a stupid one, every employee I spoke with was extremely patient and wonderful. Cannot recommend more highly.

I have been renting from Soundhouse 1-2x a year for close to a decade, and I'm always impressed with how kind and helpful they are. These guys are pretty much the only game in town, which means that they could probably be jerks if they wanted to be, but instead, they are courteous with my questions and always help me load/unload equipment.As a female, I have often been in situations where men assume that I don't know anything about sound, or they re very short and don't explain things. This is never the case here. It's always a pleasure.Shout out to Andres for loading my equip and figuring out a way to fit a sub in my trunk after hours too 🙂

Working with Soundhouse was one of the best experiences I've had with working with vendors.Although when calling them with questions you may get a different person each time, but everyone was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable of the products they rent. We can't say enough nice things about working with Soundhouse for our office holiday party. We were able to easily use their cordless uplights and speakers to transform our showroom into an elegant party space. Their customer service is fantastic, and they were a pleasure to work with.
